GHHS Healthcare (Registered name as Country Heights Health Tourism Sdn Bhd) is a health division under Country Heights Holding Berhad, a public listed company founded in 2001. Located in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia, it is a one-stop destination for one’s wellness needs that infuses Eastern and Western preventive methods. A complete health sanctuary inspired by wisdom dating back to 5000 years, it is a haven for wellbeing equipped with cutting-edge technology.
GHHS Healthcare is located in Mines Wellness City, Malaysia’s first wellness city and its premier health and tourism landmark. The centre was created to be the first of its kind preventive health centre in a resort setting – a one of its kind in the country. Its services focus on health promotion and addressing risk and social and genetic factors related to preventive care.

Upholding the ideology of “Prevention is always better than cure”, the centre focuses on preventive and curative treatments. GHHS Healthcare focuses on the concept of attaining 100% in life. Primary prevention aims to avoid the development of a disease, secondary prevention aims to diagnose and treat an existing disease in its early stages, tertiary preventions aim to reduce the negative impact of established disease by restoring function and quaternary prevention aims to mitigate or avoid the consequences of unnecessary or excessive interventions in the health system.
In the year 2006, GHHS Healthcare obtained ISO 9001:2000 QMS certification from UK Lloyd’s International Quality Register Assurance under “Provision of medical screening and preventive healthcare services” for health screening centre. In July 2009, we successfully upgraded our certification to the latest version of ISO 9001:2008. Thanks to our ever committed and hardworking team, and the continuous support from our valued members, GHHS Healthcare is marked as one of the first few companies that were immediately being awarded on the upgrades even though the certification was just made available in early 2009.
During the year 2007, the Ministry of Health approved the license to operate and provide the Private Healthcare Facilities and Service Act under the provision of “Private Ambulatory Care Centre” for the centre.
Not forgetting our CSR towards the nation, GHHS Healthcare has fully sponsored 500 less fortunate Malaysians to undergo the Mammogram Programme in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign launched by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (LPPKN).
At the end of the year 2007, GHHS Healthcare has reached another milestone with the establishment of GHHS Healthcare TCM Centre, an exclusive one-stop Traditional Chinese & Complementary Wellness centre located at Mines Wellness Hotel, within the Mine Wellness City in November 2007, intending to promote and provide quality Traditional and Complementary Medicine services to the people in Malaysia and foreign guests in the most luxurious of environment.
As a unique healthcare brand committed to catering for members and guests with the finest healthcare for holistic wellness, GHHS Healthcare TCM Centre was successfully launched and graced by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, Dato Sri Liow Tiong Lai and the visionary founder of CHHB YBhg. Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew on 7th October 2008. By the end of 2009, GHHS Healthcare TCM Centre reached another milestone with a new service in aromatherapy. The management team looks forward to another fulfilling year ahead.
GHHS Healthcare Health Screening Centre underwent a massive transformation in 2010, expanding the previous 10,000 sq feet centre into 35,000 sq centre equipped with state of the art facilities. The newly expanded Health Screening facility and the addition of Preventive Clinic, a RM 30 million investment by Country Heights Holdings Berhad were launched by the Minister of Health, YB Dato’ Sri Liow Tiong Lai on 29th March 2011. The medical centre is approved by the Ministry of Health Malaysia under ambulatory care.
GHHS Healthcare BioHerbs Health Store was officiated in December 2010, offering the latest in premium quality supplements and health-related equipment. GHHS Healthcare believes that the key to prevention lies in the secret of the circulatory system. The subdivision had a signing ceremony with Korean Ginseng Corporation in December 2011 on their collaboration in providing high-quality ginseng products to its members.
New services were also introduced in 2011. The Wellness programs include 5D4N Traditional Chinese Weight Management Program and 3D2N Traditional Chinese Recharge Program. Both programs received wonderful feedback from members and walk-in guests. The Ayurvedic centre provides an age-old Indian system of alternative therapy launched at the end of the year 2011.
Malaysia’s first Health Recuperation Centre was also under GHHS Healthcare TCM Centre in 2011 to complement the transformation of Mines Wellness City Project. This centre provides a place for patients undergoing rehabilitation to recuperate from injuries or surgeries in a private environment.
The GHHS Healthcare TCM Centre added a feather to its cap by bagging an award; the Best TCM Centre, Malaysia Spa & Wellness Awards 2011. GHHS Healthcare had their first-ever Member’s Day carnival on 24th July 2011. The event saw a turn-up of 700 members together with their families and it was a memorable day for all. Some of the activities were blood donation drive, health talk, games, free joints screening, massages, and water taxi ride to name a few.
In 2012, GHHS Healthcare Wellness obtained ISO 9001:2008 certifications by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance and became the first TCM centre in Malaysia to receive, in recognition of the centre’s excellence. Furthermore, TCM centre conducted Stroke Prevention charity day, Qi Gong Health Camp as well as providing treatment for old folks during one of the charity events. They will be having a series of charity events throughout 2012 to reinforce their ideology that healthcare should be made available to all.
