On October 30, 2023, the GHHS Healthcare delegation from Malaysia visited St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou for a one-day medical exchange and hospital tour.
During the morning session, the delegation toured the hospital’s key facilities, including the minimally invasive intervention rooms, general wards, VIP wards, and hospital garden. The team also had the opportunity to observe live demonstrations of minimally invasive surgical procedures and engaged in discussions on key treatment techniques. St. Stamford Modern Cancer Hospital Guangzhou’s 18 advanced minimally invasive cancer treatment technologies captured the delegation’s keen interest. The hospital then arranged an interactive session with its Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), where specialists from both sides exchanged insights on specific challenges in cancer treatment, fostering a dynamic and engaging discussion.
In the afternoon, Dr. Peng, a leading authority in minimally invasive cancer treatment, delivered a keynote lecture titled “Precision Minimally Invasive Treatment for Tumors.” With over 30 years of experience in oncology, Dr. Peng provided an insightful overview of the hospital’s cutting-edge techniques, sharing compelling patient cases with a blend of expertise and engaging storytelling.
This visit provided GHHS Healthcare with valuable insights into the latest advancements in cancer treatment and strengthened international medical collaboration between Malaysia and China.
