Heart Clinic, or Cardiology Clinic, provides diagnosis & treatments related to disorders of the heart and the blood vessels. We highly encourage our members and customers to undergo the screening; Cardiovascular Diseases are the largest cause of disease fatality in Malaysia (according to the Ministry of Health Malaysia). GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Heart Clinic aim to assist our members and customers in the prevention of cardiovascular and heart diseases through a wide spectrum of screening services such as Electrocardiograms (ECG), Treadmill Stress Tests or Cardiac CT Angiography.

GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre Gastro and Liver Clinic specializes in diagnosing, investigating, and managing diseases and problems related to the digestive system of the human body, which includes the gall bladder and liver. Our members and customers will have to take specific screening as below:

I. Capsule Endoscopy Screening
GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre uses a tiny wireless camera in a vitamin-size capsule to take pictures of your digestive tract. This procedure is recommended to find the cause of unexplained bleeding in the small intestine and diagnose inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease. Other than that, Capsule Endoscopy Screening can also diagnose cancer and celiac disease by examining your oesophagus.

II. Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy
Like Capsule Endoscopy Screening, gastroscopy is the oesophagus, and stomach screening recommended to diagnose chest pain, anaemia, black stained tool, heartburn, nausea and vomiting. On the other hand, Colonoscopy is an examination of the large bowel recommended to diagnose lower abdominal pain, blood or mucus admixtures to the stool, chronic inflammatory bowel disease and few other diseases categorised under large bowel area. GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre endoscopic department is equipped with the finest video endoscopes in which are the prerequisite for gentle and powerful examination.

GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre provides cancer prevention screening that can raise awareness of the community and be a helping hand to lower the risk of getting cancer. Although maintaining a healthy lifestyle, taking medicines or vaccines, and avoiding exposure to known cancer-causing substances can also prevent cancer cells from developing, an immunological test – a test to detect abnormalities of the immune system, are also very much needed to diagnose immune diseases, also to detect antibodies against allergy-triggering substances. Some of the Cancer Prevention & Immune System Screening test that GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre offers are:

I. Cervical Cancer Screening
Pap test or Pap Smear test will be done to look for precancers and cell changes on the cervix that might potentially develop cervical cancer if they are not being treated appropriately.

II. Free Radical Test
Free radicals or Oxidative Stress test is provided at GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre to identify an imbalance between free radical- oxygen-containing molecules with an uneven number of electrons and antioxidants in your body.

III. Urea Breath Test
The Urea Breath Test (UBT) is a medical test to distinguish the presence of the bacterium, Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a type of bacteria that may infect the human’s stomach and is the major cause of ulcers in both the stomach and duodenum (the first part of the small intestine).

IV. M2-PK Test
M2-PK Test or M2 Pyruvate Kinase is a non-invasive screening test for early detection of colorectal cancers and polyps which are recognized to be the precursors of colorectal cancer.

V. Food Intolerance
Food Intolerance screening is a medical test to diagnose one’s intolerance towards fermentable carbs, such as lactose, legumes, and certain vegetables, fruits, grains, and sweeteners. At GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre, the screening for food intolerance will be done by taking your breath tests to identify your poor tolerance and absorption of certain carbs mentioned earlier.

VI. Allergy Screening
At GHHS Healthcare and Wellness Centre, an Allergy Screening is an examination performed by a highly trained allergy specialist to determine if your body has an allergic reaction to a known substance. Allergy can be detected when one’s overreacts towards something in the environment. For instance, normally harmless pollen can cause your body to overreact, such as having a runny nose, sneezing, blocked sinuses, itchy and watery eyes. The exam would be done by taking your blood test, skin test, or an elimination diet.
